         Background: For seven years, Kiersten worked as a behavior therapist and trainer, managing and implementing home ABA programs for families with children on the autism spectrum. Kiersten's experience includes training and supervising ABA tutors, helping parents implement behavioral programs, and observing classroom instruction. She has conducted numerous hands-on training workshops for parents and professionals.
         Education: John Carol University - Bachelors in Psychology, with a special interest in autism and early intervention, & a Certificate in Education

Nicole Cellura

Nicole Cellura
Respite Care Provider

         Background: Nicole Cellura is currently in her . She is a long-term resident of Twinsburg, Ohio and graduated from in 2006. I really enjoy the program that I am in at Kent State and I am looking very forward to my future as an early childhood educator. When I am not in school, I like to read, relax, and spend time with my family, boyfriend, and friends. In addition, I have been babysitting for many different families for the last eight years and have enjoyed working with each and every family and child that I have worked with. I have had the wonderful opportunity to form close relationships with many of the families and have enjoyed being a large part of their lives and watching their children grow. I look very forward to meeting you and your children and providing your family with supportive, responsible, and fun respite care!
         Education: Twinsburg High School - graduated 2006
Kent State University - 3rd year in the Early Childhood Education program
         Experience: As part of my education at Kent State, I have also done field work and student teaching in two separate integrated preschool classrooms with students with a variety of special needs. Each child and family that I have had the chance to work with thus far has brought me wonderful new experiences that have contributed to my interest in becoming an early childhood educator.

Florida Institute of Technology - currently working towards her BCaBA Participated in multiple workshops and trainings to further her knowledge on using Applied Behavior Analysis with children in the home and classroom

Speech-Language Pathologist

         Background: Jennifer has been working with individuals with disabilities since 2001, while completing her undergraduate degree in psychology from the . After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in 2002, she worked as a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional. In 2003, Holly started her graduate studies in speech-language pathology. While in grad school, she worked one-on-one for a year and a half with a child with Autism who was profoundly deaf, and has since served helped many children with various disabilities.
         Education: University of Indianapolis - Bachelors in Psychology
Temple University & Kent State - Masters in Speech-Language Therapy & Graduate Certificate Program in Pervasive Developmental Disorders
         Licensure: Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology

Jaclyn McClymont

Jaclyn McClymont, BA
Respite Staff

         Background: Jackie grew up in Stow. Jackie has experience working with a 5-year-old with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss and bilateral cochlear implants. She hase many hours in facilities such as Weaver School, Summit County Preschool (County of Summit Board of MR/DD), and Family Child Learning Center.
Jackie plans to continue her education to earn her master's degree in speech-language pathology. Her areas of interest include language disorders of children with disabilities and language disorders of children with hearing loss.

         Education: University of Akron - Bachelors in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
         Licensure: Jackie is a member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA).
